201 Stainless Steel is a low-nickel stainless steel approximately 30% lower in raw material cost, with simple stamping and welding processing and lightweight construction. However, weak anti-rust performance means it develops rust spots with prolonged exposure to rain and moisture. Only suitable for short-term construction temporary walkways and low-traffic interior decorative grids. Not recommended for entrance areas with wet-dry alternation.

430 Ferritic Stainless Steel is a nickel-free stainless steel meeting rust-resistance standards in dry indoor environments with good bending and processing performance. However, it rusts easily in humid environments and is only used for equipment tread auxiliary anti-slip and light-duty indoor decorative grids.

Anti-Slip Textures and Supporting Processes

Coastal scenic areas, ports and offshore platform projects must use 316L material to avoid salt spray corrosion rework costs. 201 stainless steel anti-slip strips are acceptable for short-term construction temporary stairs. Food and pharmaceutical clean rooms exclusively recommend 304 stainless steel meeting food contact hygiene standards. Chemical plants and wastewater treatment plant operating platforms should use 316L serrated anti-slip gratings for long-term effective use in strong acid-alkali environments.

For slot specifications, high-traffic commercial areas recommend narrow mesh within 8mm to prevent high-heel entrapment. Outdoor snow-prone areas can widen to 10 to 12mm to avoid snow blocking drainage holes.
